Andreas Knöpfel

Andreas Knöpfel has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He joined Vontobel Swiss Wealth Advisors AG (VSWA) in February 2011 as Executive Director, serving as a Senior Wealth Management Advisor, and was promoted to Managing Director Senior Advisor in April 2018.

Prior to joining VSWA, Andreas Knöpfel was an Executive Director with Bank Vontobel AG from May 2010 to January 2011. Before his assignment at Bank Vontobel, he was an Executive Director and Senior Relationship Manager with Credit Suisse Private Advisors AG from February 2009 to December 2009.

From 2005 to 2009 he served as Executive Director and Wealth Management Consultant with UBS Swiss Financial Advisers AG and in the same function from 2002 to 2005 with UBS Wealth Management, Zurich.

Prior to his private banking activities, he worked for more than 16 years in the corporate and investment banking industry of which he spent eight years in the United States, two years in Asia and six years in Switzerland.
