Thorsten Krauss, PhD

Thorsten Krauss serves as Chief Investment Officer of Vontobel Swiss Wealth Advisors AG (VSWA) with the rank of Executive Director since October 2018.

Thorsten Krauss has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, mainly in financial analysis and asset management.

Prior to joining VSWA, he served first as a Senior Portfolio Manager and later as Head of Portfolio Management at Notenstein La Roche Privatbank AG in Zurich from December 2014 to September 2018. From March 2008 to November 2014, he was Head of Porfolio Management at LBBW (Switzerland) AG in Zurich. Thorsten Krauss started his career at SGZ Bank AG in Frankfurt, Germany in the year 2000.

Thorsten Krauss is a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) and holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
